There’s never a bad time to show off your pride with a show-stopping manicure! Whether you’re a nail novice or are two coats away from opening your own salon, here are our favorite bisexual nail art designs to try.

Bisexual Nail Art

Because, as fun as sparkly, bold, and bright nails are, bi-phobia is the hard opposite. As a teenager, I had internalized a lot of it. The cultural narrative was that being bisexual was just a stop on the train to Gay town or a ploy to get attention.

Then, I learned that being bi just means you’re attracted to more than one gender. That it’s a beautiful, valid way to express your sexuality and an important part of the pride flag.

So, if you want to celebrate it, here’s some colorful pink, blue, and purple nail designs to wear to represent the bisexual flag.

11 Bisexual Nail Art Designs to Show Your Pride

1. Bold Graphic Line Nails

Show off your bi pride with these beautiful wavy lines set on a black background. Slightly moody, slightly goth, very bi, and totally stunning. Does anything describe us better?

2. Wavy Line Manicure

If you’re not quite ready to unleash your inner goth, go classic and show off the flag on a neutral background. And the best part? These are press-ons!

This is the easiest manicure to do at home, or as you start lining up for the pride parade. (Procrastinators, unite!) Plus, if you buy from the collection in June, a portion of the proceeds go to LGBTQ+ charities.

3. Purple Amethyst Tips

Even if your girlfriend isn’t diving for crystals every time she takes off your bra, there’s probably one in your house somewhere. Bring that energy everywhere with this nail design.

4. Pixelated Heart

This manicure can be a subtle nod to your geekdom or your sexuality. Or, both! Paint on one heart, two hearts, or however many your real heart desires! That one shouldn’t be pixelated.

5. Classic Rainbow Nails

If you’re a pride purist, make like Skittles and taste the rainbow. This look is great for you nail art novices with an extensive nail polish collection who broke two nails discovering you need a bottle opener for Topo Chico.

6. Glitter Rainbow Nail Design

If you’re going over the top, you’ve got to top it off with some glitter. You’re going to end up covered in glitter by the end of Pride month anyway, so you might as well start now.

7. Gemstone Rainbow Nail Design

Word of warning if you decide to get these: Be prepared for a conversation about Avengers: Endgame.

8. Bisexual Yin and Yang Nails

This bisexual nail art is straight out of the Delia’s catalog of my dreams. Plus, it gives a nod to the genderfluid flag if that’s also how you identify!

9. Happy Rainbow Cloud Nail Design

This cheery rainbow cloud loves and supports you through your gender expression and sexual orientation journey. He also wants to eat all your snacks, but hey you win some you lose some.

10. Dotted Ombre

It has glitter. It has bi pride colors pink, purple, and blue. It has a super easy design that even nail-art newbies can do. There hasn’t been a trifecta that strong since Harry Potter, except for that weird time when Ron wandered off to write a solo album.

11. Graphic Bi-Pride French Manicure

This is cute take on the classic French manicure in the bi flag colors. You could switch it up and put the magenta on the bottom, depending on your preference. Just don’t put it in the corner. Only baby goes there.

I don’t like gel because you have to damage the nails by filling them and I had mine done by a local nail salon and she used a nail file for dip nails or acrylic nails and I paid a lot.
