ColdSnap Ice Cream Maker - toppings

We all love ice cream. Unless you’re lactose intolerant, in which case, that’s on you. So we’re really excited about ColdSnap, the “Keurig of frozen treats,” that was recently revealed to the world at CES, and is about to be our new favorite kitchen appliance. Right after our overpriced toaster and R2-D2 InstaPot.

Thanks to ColdSnap, you can now make soft serve ice cream from the comfort of your home, which means no more late night drives in your pajamas to the gas station down the street. It can also make frozen cocktails, which also means no more late night drives in your pajamas to the gas station down the street.

What is ColdSnap?

ColdSnap is a countertop kitchen appliance that makes ice cream, frozen coffee, smoothies, cocktails, and more. Simply pop in a ColdSnap pod filled with a delicious liquid concoction, select the item you want to make from the list, and “voila!” A frozen snack fresh and ready to eat, or drink, in 60-90 seconds is born.

Also, the aluminum pods are 100% recyclable!

The ColdSnap Can Make:

  • Ice cream
  • Frozen yogurt
  • Frozen coffee
  • Frozen smoothies
  • Frozen cocktails
  • White Claw Slushies

Each pod makes a single serving, so you may want to use doubles. Especially for the cocktails.

How much will it cost?

The ColdSnap is expected to cost anywhere from $500.00 to $1000.00, with pods running between $2.50 and $3.00 a piece. Which is definitely better than spending $3.00 on just the spoon to eat it with. It will be available sometime in the second quarter of this year, depending on how long January lasts.
